So, there is a wounded veteran event taking place in Cedar Park, TX., just north of Austin, Sat. May 26th, that I'd love to see some more local support for. Not to hi-jack this thread, but similar interest and a different weekend. Below is a copy/paste e-mail that went out to one of my clubs, Austin Area Car Club and I wanted to share the information. It would be fabulous to get as many hot rods and customs there as possible. For some reason, the attachments take awhile to open on my computer. These guys do fabulous work for entire families of veterans. Do not forget the Car Show below for the Veterans. We have an area assigned for the AACC. All Antique & Classic Cars are welcome. Please review the attachment and RSVP. Date: May 26 Time: 11 am to 4 pm Heroes Night Out 1150 S. This will truly be an event to remember... not only will we be able to drive with some of our wounded heroes in our rides but we will have a police escort all the way. We are allowed to have 20 cars in the procession since this is the first time so PM me or email me @ [email protected] to reserve your spot. This is an event that we hope to continue to be involved with help grow.
