WHADDYA MEAN YOU CANT HAVE BOTH! I always look at a car that I would like to buy and think "Can I sleep in it?" cause I may have to for a little while til she figures I'm really gonna keep it... PS: I have some pretty good negotiating skills, sometimes they dont work though...
You can haul bikes along in a pickup if ya want wind in your hair. If you gotta have just one, the truck.
Hmmmm....sell a running driving truck you enjoy for a project needing work that may or may not get finished in a timely manner as life gets in the way? Keep the truck.
Thanks all was totally leaning toward the truck and I will keep it. Sell the bikes - NO WAY Divorce- well... no.... she is my soul mate - married 19 know each other 23 Thinking Flat Black with orange & white pinstripes for the Paint
I'd keep both and tell my wife she looks great in those pants. A little buttering up goes a long way around here.
you could do what i did and say honey i love you so much look what i bought you. you are gonna look 18 again drivin this when i get done with it.
Keep the truck ! It keeps stops sun burn, keeps you dry in the rain (what little you have), keeps you warm on early morning cruises and it can haul stuff home.
1. Keep the truck 2. Take two of the motorcycles and lash them together with 2x4s and duct tape, creating a unique albeit crude roadster. Win trophy at ratrod event. 3, Profit.
I would get the car! It looks great- although I have to say the same for the truck. If you end up with car, Im sure you would have no problem selling that stude. Let me know if you want help building anything- Im just over the hill in Vallejo
The truck is badass so keep it. I contemplate selling my truck so I can start a new project all the time but logic always steers me right. The feeling your having is normal and we all have it! We are car guys and that also means we are day dreamers nothing wrong with that.
=Fitty Toomuch;Keep the truck.. yep, keep the truck, to be a voice of reason, it is better to keep what you have because you already have it running and know the in's and out's of the truck and with out being able to store the roadster inside it'll go to hell. l know for a fact it won't be happy outside as l live in a rainy place and have had to leave cars outside, it SUCKS. if the truck has IFS you probably won't like the straight axle. Later
No way I'd be letting that truck anywhere out of my sight. Keep it, and get the roadster too. No reason why you can't have both. Your wife will understand and if she doesn't then you have (or she has ) problems.
