I think it would look really nice with a longer set of 2 door sedan doors and a repositioned B pillar to match.

I'd like to see the work when you fill that rear door seam. Just a thought, but have you considered just tilting the front door pillar forward at the top to get a truer coupe look? Is that Mercedes going to be saved? I hope so, those are great cars.

the mercedes is rotted out pretty bad and the guy that owns it thinks its worth a million so it sits and grows mold... i was gonna do the longer doors then i made this photoshop with an old fourdoor ad with the stock door lenght and same chop as mine.so for now its gonna be build just like that picture.

It's not unlike the treatment a 49-51 Ford coupe gets from the factory, it looks good and with the chop it looks proportional.

Too bad about the Merc, I had one of those in Venezuela with the Bosch headlights, I loved that car.

    Plexiglas is a great idea........

Do yourself a favor and get some Glass in there before you get hurt. Plexi is very brittle and it doesn't take much to break it. Not a good thing to get punched in the face by a 50 mph windshield that popped in because a gnat hit it. Lexan isn't much better without mechanical fasteners to keep it from jumping out either.

Hopefully when you did all that work to the car you kept in mind putting cut down stock glass back in it.

BTW, plastic windows are not dot approved for a reason.

Chop looks good though, much better than the inverted door stop look that seems prevalent these days.

i did the plexiglass only cause the chop wasnt 100% done and i wanted to drive it around town a little before winter, but now im finishing it up and getting my glass cut.theres a glass shop down the road from me that just cut the windsheild for me on a buick i just chopped and they did a good job

Looks much improved and tastefully done. I would maybe lengthen the doors, alot of work I know, but it would help the flow (body proportions) from four to two doors.
