Anybody have a list for hubcaps that fit on the stock steel 15" 49-51 merc rims that are the 5x5.5" lug pattern?

  3. Most wheelcovers in 15 inch will work. As far as hubcaps the Mercs' are the only ones I know of.

  4. The 49-51 merc and lincoln rim take a unique 11 1/4" hubcap. Most any 15" full wheel cover will fit. Hope this helps

These are some Merc rims I was experimenting with.

    First there was none.
    Then there was Studebaker
    Lastly there was 55 Olds

The diameter of the wheel cover is only one dimension that needs to be taken into consideration. The caddy rims from the mid 50's to late '60's typically have deep set wheel centers and can accommodate the deep set wheel covers. Same goes for some '50's Buick and Pontiac wheel covers.
