Just went to see Dennis about reserving our space for Autorama. The stuff I got to peek at tells me that it's going to be another GREAT show! (nice work Roadstar) This is the 80th Anniv of the Deuce & the Flathead, so I hope to see a lot of both this year.

I thought that it was cool that there was way over 100 rods & customs pre-registered now. There were also a lot more clubs from out of state coming this year.

Once again, they are reserving an area specially for us HAMBers, so we need our typical strong showing in the Basement.

CaptainScarlet (Martyn), DaddiosDiner (Dave), DogpatchCustoms (George) have already registered cars. There was also a HAMBer from PA.

Where's everybody hiding? And why haven't ya sent in your reg forms yet? Don't wait until the last minute, there's only about a 120 slots left.

C'mon down! The party's in the Basement!

Follow the link in the 1st post & fill out the form. Send it in to the attention of Dennis Scott.

Be sure to put HAMB where it asks for Club Name.

You can PM Roadstar for info on requirements for long distance towing allowance.

My girls will be there escorted by yours truly. No car though. See ya there!

  6. As metioned above - I'M IN!!!!

Planning on bringing my '34 and my Galaxie drop-top.

I am also totally geeked about going as last year my '54 Victoria was chosen as the feature car for the 2012 Artist Alley Auction. Several of the finest automotive artists are doing originals of my car.

    HOW FREAKIN COOL IS THAT?!?

The originals will be auctioned off for charity and prints will be for sale all weekend. Bringing my wallet. :D:eek:

  12. The Nitro Antique Car Club (West Virginia's oldest car club, 1961-2012) is sponsoring a charter bus trip to The Detroit Autorama this year. The bus seats 55 and the trip is nearly sold-out as of 12/30/11. $75 per person covers transportation, snacks on the bus, show tickets, plus passes to the special event gathering Saturday afternoon. This will be a "red-eye" trip leaving Nitro around midnight on Friday and arriving back from Detroit in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb 26th. Any local HAMB'ers that are interested in the trip should contact Bill Fortune via email at: [email protected] for availability of seats on the bus.

I will be there,... but once again,.... none of you will see me (unless I allow it),... I am like the ghost that wanders Cobo Hall in the dead of night,... looking for those that would do harm to the objects of our affections.

I is,.... "Da' Phantom of da' Autorama !" :D

I will be on a bus trip from Niagara, spending Saturday only. A bit short for me, but at least we get there every year. Sure hoping the weather is good.
    Happy New Year!

I'm gonna try like hell to make it back to Detroit for the Autorama, without my car though. Perhaps I'll wear my Jalopy Journal shirt so I look official. lol.
