About 3 miles from where I live there is junkyard that was started back in the 1930's......it had been in business until about 15 years ago when all of the EPA regulations forced the owner to clean it up and he then shut it down to the retail trade......but, for years Harry Fleming has been providing parts to the local guys here, often just giving the parts to you as he did to me for my '32 Coupe that I used to have.....

I give you this background by way of introducing you to to the Annual Fleming's *Pumpkin Run!*.......after all of the Halloween hoopla that they do in the junkyard, they leave it decorated and the following week this car show is held....

It is one of the coolest and most unusual shows on the whole East Coast, if not the USA......I mean, how many car shows have you been to lately inside an old '30's junkyard?

There is everything from the hot rods and customs, to military vehicles, old *hit or miss* engine displays, racing boats, a huge air cannon that shoots pumpkins right through the wall of a target trailer, a garden tractor pull, and a wonderful museum covering old South Jersey stock car racing legends............food vendors, kettle corn, roasted corn on the cob, cheesesteaks, sausage peppers and onions, and the full gamut of *event food*.....

Take a little walk with me through Fleming's as I show it to you through the eye of my camera......here we go....

Thanks for the great coverage, Cuz. I always look forward to your pics. You're just as good as that other Cousin Brucie I listened to back in the olden days. Nice heat gun purchase, by the way, but I hope you didn't shell out the full $10 for it.

Wow, what a show. It looks like there would not be enough time to see everything there is to see in one day.

    from nowhere...

This was the first time I ever made it to this event!!! I won't miss it, now....It was about the coolest place you could ask to wander around in for a day. I dug the junk yard...just checking out all the odd stuff. Really cool. Old rigs, and all kinds of cool stuff. It was freezing this morning, but, it turned into a gorgeous day quickly. Did anyone see the finished product of the chainsaw-carved Flattie??? It was a great location, and a nice, mellow ride in the Ranchero to and from...been sitting out most of the year and saving $$$, but, I've heard this was worth it...it was!

    Thanks for the pix!
