  8. What is the scoop on using Stencils to do flames?

    Pros-Cons

    i think using stencils to do flames is like using stickers for pin stripes.
    This said, i dig "The Gold Digger" thats how that car is called right?
    And Bob, your other son old shoebox, the one in satin black w/ gold flames, that car was pretty neat. and weird too, but in a good way.

    If it wasnt for the grille i'd say it was Sellers 'box. Very simialr color and flames.

    This photo was taken in 1996 and is of a very early sectioned shoebox now for sale in FL.
    It's now all black with blue wheels.

    What color/brand are those flames? I like it with the black and white, they look good together.

    Me and my dad just did our first flame job a couple of months ago. The flames were free handed using 1/8in masking tape. They still need to be pin striped. Sorry for all of the shit in the background it my grandparents place......What do you guys think?
