I love em both,.... But given the scenario you premised this with,... No doubt, I would want the 3 Window,... Like I said, I love em both. But I'm 6'2", and with the package tray removed and the seat moved back a few more inches,... The 3 Window is more comfortable, and easier to get into and out of with the wide suicide doors.

    But,.... then again ??,......... :confused::rolleyes::D:D

  4. After the proliferation of the country with 3 window fiberglass bodies, I'd take the 5 window just because to me it feels more immediately genuine and gives an impression of relative individuality.

Definitely 5W. I don't like the way the body sit above the gas filler on a 3W. It looks like they forgot about the gas tank when they designed the body so they had to cut a chunk out of it to make it fit.

FIVE WINDOW It goes back to the early 1960's and the AMT models I built. Three to three and a half inch chop, full fendered with a 392 HEMI, four speed, 9 inch out back, on American five spokes. Dark green with green leather interior with all interior trim wood grained.

I could really go for a chopped 3 window.

Based on style alone, it has to be victory to the 3 window, no chance.

Suicide doors or not, the balance of the lines is second to none. It looks so accomplished, it's a pity they didn't sell more of them. But having read Deuce_Roadster's explanation that they cost a fair chunk more it's understandable.

The 5W, to my european eye (not used to seeing them frequently), is pretty much a common Ford coupe. The 3W looks much more special, there's a completely different harmony to the lines. It's one of those great designs that look right from the start. Reminds me of a baby Duesy, the Fiat Topolino and other gorgeous 30's designs.

It's the only closed body style I'd consider for mine if I couldn't have a roadster...

    Cheers, Eddie

That would be a hard decision after getting over the shock of a free 32. I believe I like the 5 window better. When can I pick it up?

5W for me...While I love suicide doors, to me, a '32 3W, especially a fenderless one, just looks like the deck is too short. Not sure why, but it may have something to do with the back of the door being closer to the fenderwell?
Move up to '33-'34 and its 3W all the way!

Cant decide...haha Ive fabbed on both, driven both, etc.....I guess it all comes down to build style....I love a heavily hammered 3 window high boy...but I love a channeled 5 window with lots of chop as well...Both look good full fendered

Before I accept my '32 3 window, how much will I have to pay in capital gain taxes? :D

If you run out of said '32 3 and 5 window cars, I'll humbly accept that lowly B400 that nobody else has claimed. Thank you for your generosity. The B400 would be the ONLY '32 I'd ever need for the rest of my life! :)

Makes me ask "why didn't they do a 3 window Model A coupe?"

I never ever thought I would get to pick. Make mine a 5 window please, with fenders:D

Ahh that's a tasty little bugger.

why did Henry make three and five windows at the same time? was it strictly a style thing or were there pretty substantial interior differences?

  28. Someone needs to put a 3w roof on a 5w body, then it would be so right. I like the roof and screen area on a 3w but dont like the lack of feature lines on the rest of it.

I have a 5w and wouldnt have anything else :)
