Well it's that time of the year again , the great LA Roadsters Father's day show in Pomona. For the last 5 years we've had our open house on the Thursday before the big one. All things being equal , we'll have the Fire Dept Parking lot to park Rods & Kustoms ONLY please. Randy (cruzr) will be on hand performing parking duties(Thanks Randy ) Listen to him , he rules !! We will have Fabiola here again with her wonderful Tacos for Lunch Noon till 2 , after that everyone for themselves. We'll have the doors open from 10 am & close up whenever. Have a safe drive out if you can't make it we'll love to see you at our booth in Building 4 in Pomona. Cheers Steve
Steve and the gang throw a great "open house" a must on the list for the out-of-towners........ see ya all there Thursday
Gonna try my best to make it out, Steve. I've been wanting to come out for the last few years but having our own shop and lots of passers-through during the week it's hard to get away. Not to mention, one of my friends was incredibly inconsiderate and scheduled his wedding rehersal and tux rental pick-up for Thursday. What an ass! Doesn't he know I have hot rod stuff to do this week?!
I was out there last year, i met alot of great people from all over the usa and limey steve know how to welcome the people-great food too
Well we've already had guys from Colorado & Canada today ,in their Hot Rods, a day early , they're coming back tomorrow for the famous Tacos
The TACOS are worth the trip My wife and I were there last year, but can only make out to the west coast from South Carolina every 2 or 3 years. Hope to make agian in 2012 ...
Hey all, I am one of those guys who made it down from Canada! Just wanted to throw out a big THANKS to Steve and the crew at Lime Works. Not only did They put on a great event but they also helped me out HUGE! I blew a coilover on the way down from Vancouver BC and Called Steve. This was the day before the open house at about 2:00... As if they didn't have enough on their plates already, Steve just told me "Bring it in"! He wheeled it in the shop for the night and by the time we got there the next morning (we were already planning on attending the open house) he and the crew had already gotten on it and had it about done! Steve's whife actually went to pick the new coilovers up after they shut the shop down the night before!!! Anyways, just wanted to give a shout out to Steve and the rest of the crew at Lime Works! A Class group of people!!! Thanks a bunch guys! As well a shout out to troy at Hollywood. I know Troy and he is always willing to help out. He was my first call and as he could not get the parts in right away it was on his recomondation that I called Steve at Lime Works. Cheers!
I'm glad we could help out , schit happens ; Thanks to all who came we are going have to see the city about parking next year as we were on the edge of disaster this year It just keeps getting better without being too big as we could not handle the scene that Pete & Bobby host on Friday , as were in the Uptown district were stuck for space. Thank heavens for the Fire Dept. next door & their parking lot.
