What year did Ford make 8" rear ends?

I needed to change the ring and pinion gears in my 8" and when taken apart, someone welded the spider gears to make a locker.

Now I am trying to find a donor rear end to find a new carriage.

Can anyone tell me what years and vehicle types had these rear ends so I know what to look for.

    Thank you, Bill

One thing worth noting is that the Ford 8" rear came in at least two different versions. There was the 6-cylinder version which had fewer ribs on the gear case and was significantly weaker, and there was the V8 version that had more ribs on the gear case and was significantly stronger. Unless you're running a 4 banger or a mostly stock 6 you'll want the V8 version.
