going for a traditional look, got a 50 flathead getting boiled right now, gonna run 3 2's, no hood or fenders, got buick drums for the front, 4 in chop and 3 in channel, 3 in z in front and a 12 in z in the back. but i think i will use a t5 for the tranny i have a 3 speed but for the ease of driving will probably use a t5. the rear will be and 8.8 that i got for free.

Looks like some good sheetmetal compared to most of the stuff we find in the rust belt.

FYI....I'm 6' and got to set in one with the chop and channel combo you stated....the car had buckets on the floor. Dead on...My eyes lined up with the top 1" above the window. I walked away mumbling "No way in hell" ....just saying. Looked killer though. I may be looking for a different driving experiance..I know.
Best of luck on this solid start!

You can either order the bellhousing from Speedway, or do what I did and use the shallow ( 3") truck bellhousing with an adapter from Dwight Bond.

Do a search for Flat Ernie's T5 thread. near the very end is my post with Dwight's contact info.
