  21. It looks good! .. no front brakes?= *~*%$#!%@?* how does that work?

HEY! - One for one, pound for pound, it rules to see the Aussie Nats has the best quality showing of rods ANYWHERE.

    We are #1 people !:).

Dig Cahill's '34. Front end looks good & right for Banana roads.
That cream 3W with BIG HP may make me weep, it's drop- dead so fine.

Thanx for taking the trouble to post all your pix. Looks like a great time. I'm on a Model A thing lately... so here's the one that caught my eye. Gary

Great pics. I'm guessing you guys HAVE to run those funky little fenders? Or is that just an aussie thing?

  26. YOU HAVE TO GET OUT MORE. CHOPPED 2011?:)

  27. yeah mate rego laws are pretty tight over here. you gotta have some sort of covering over your wheels. tho they seem to "dissapear" from alot of cars after the cars been registered:rolleyes:

Once you get the vehicle through inspection, how strict are the police about enforcing the fender laws? Someone else said you couldn't run a blower either? Whats the story on that?

    Just curious...

  29. i think it all depends on the coppers, some dont seem to worry about it. also it seems more cars have their fenders on at bigger shows and off at smaller shows (dont know if thats because of a bigger police presence or what). blowers are ok as long as the belts/pulleys etc (moving parts) are covered by a hood or some sort of guard and it dosent obstruct the drivers view

See the quote marks? Rod's words, not mine. Last I checked, 27 litres with a blower was too big for a 55 Chev too.
