I don't have much info on this coupe, but definitely has east coast flare!
265 sbc, '39 box, '39 Lincoln Zypher front and rear axles, springs, brakes, & drums.

Looking for this coupe built in Maine about 50 years ago. There is a related thread on the Hamb with more history.

 

Here's a few of the deuce I am in the middle of redoing. Build in Maine.

 

The Onion? My Dad remembers this!!! Do you have any other photos of it at this stage (before it was painted brown and changed later in the 70s?) Any other photos in the early 60s as well? This is terrific!!!!

Here's a pic of my 34' Cabrio circa 1986..Heavy channel,chopped windshield,32' shell etc..I sold the car and it was restored to stock..What a shame,I miss that car..

 

Now I know why you have that blue Cabrio, Sweet Jesus George!!!

 

Yeah,it was "out there" for the 1980's..Totally out in left field compared to what most Hot Rod guys considered "cool" back then..Most people thought it was a T-bucket! My "blue" cabrio will never be as wild as this one,but now you see the reason for my madness..Here's another shot.

 

Good to see a variety of engines still being used. You east coast boys have some taste
after-all.....
