Who owns a 51',52' Ford F1 with a 5 star cab?

I need a few pix, and have a question or two about the upper door panel. If anyone out in Pickup land has one.. PLEASE...... Let me know. Thank you. Jay

 

I would also like to see picks of a '55 Custom Cab.

 

I have a 52 pu 5 star cab.

 

George, or anyone else who may know. Why do these holes still show at the top of the upper door panel. Is there something that I need to bolt in place?

 

I have a 51 Merc deluxe cab, and I do not see those holes, I will try to snap a picture this evening. PM me if I forget.

 

Here are a few pictures with the upper panel removed. There are 5 holes across the top, and two on each side of the embossed section where the crank handles go. Seems odd, kinda like there should be another edging like the bottom panel has....

 

Here's the pictures of my 51 Merc deluxe cab. I don't see the 5 holes as SMOKINFLATHEAD reported, but mine has the extra lip at the top that his doesn't appear to have. My guess is that the 5 holes he sees are covered by the extra lip on mine. Hope this helps, if you need more let me know.

 

The holes you are talking are in line with door latch.
could you have a f2 f3 door.This is one pic i have.

 

Got pics of my 52 in my albums, none of my extra doors have those holes.

 

What is that emblem on the centre of the dash? Is that something you've placed there or is it part of the vehicle?

 

I wondered the same thing when I first looked at it. Looking at it now, I believe it is the 5 star horn button off of a 54-56 truck.

 

I thought it looked funny, you maybe right.It does have 5 stars.

 

My doors don't have those little holes either.....strange...
