"I've Driven a Locomotive" (both steam & diesel) and this Old Ford is nothing like that! However, I drive 3hrs. roundtrip everyday to do that, ("I've Been Working On The Railroad") and this would make a GREAT DAILY DRIVER ... if only I could afford the gas. Thanks for sharing.

Very neat. Was anybody else hoping he would rev it up & side step the clutch at the end?

A friend in High School, bought the same car from the front row of the used car section at Fitzgerald Ford in Rockville, Ct.back in late 1967. Price was $1095. The car was also sold there new in 64 to a local contractor who built house foundations...and he lived "fat" and always bought fast new cars. 427-4 speed, but not really very quick IMO

The most ugly color we ever saw; like a pinkish tan/yellow. We called it shitbrindle. :)

He kept it in his mothers driveway for at least 25 years after HS, and sold it for $300-$400 just a year or so before muscle cars became popular again.

You bet... I was sure he was going to light them up, because that's exactly what we did back then. Pull over on a rural road and go nuts.
