Well I'm stoked on the car also. Im now home for the next few months. Looks like it will be painted in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait. It will be a very cool shade of ???????

Wow it's really came a long ways! nice job!!

 

I have to hand it to you, this thing is really coming together. You have an eye for this stuff. It just looks good.

 

Im gonna hold off on posting anything else till she is painted thanks for the compliments should be updated in a few weeks...

So it's not painted yet but we decided to add a little mojo to the taillights. We mounted the lights and they looked like and after thought so Matt made a pair of hoops and welded them in and did some body work. Now she is really ready for paint.

With that work underneath, I am not sure it is really going to matter what paint ends up on top. It will be awesome.

I'm wrestling with one myself. (Needs lots of TLC.)

I) What rings were used to french the headlights?
II) Can you post a close-up/info on the vent wings?
III) Is it lowered via blocks and cut coils?

Am interested in any/all other details.

I am not goin to French the headlights. Matt made a hoop of 1/4 round stock and welded it to the taillight housings to give it that frenched look. It has de-arched rear springs and blocks and cut coilsup front. When I get the wing window placed I will send you a picture.

was gonna ask about colour till i saw this, keeping it under wraps? or you gonna give us a hint?

btw i love the subtle touches, thats the best kind of custom imo, the ones where you cant tell whats stock and whats modified.
