The '52 98 coupe I picked up this fall. I can't wait to put some miles on it as soon as the snow clears.

Here's my 1957 Eighty-Eight waiting for a better future. Don't know if I want to tackle this one or not. Motor is 394 with automatic out of a '60 Olds.

Here's a unique Ozzie body, 1940 Olds sedanette, aka sloper (All enclosed coupe). GM built them in Australia from 1935 until 1941 before GM in the US even produced sedanettes.:p

These are beautiful cars, all GM tri 5s are bad ass, but i have a soft spot for Olds.
remember that gold one Oz built for D'Agostino few yeas back?
If i had one in my garage i wouldnt let it go for anything.

That’s interesting stuff. Do you have more pics of that "sloper" as you called it and maybe a sideview?

    Cheers!
I'm on the East coast, Southend on Sea. The view is in fact the River Thames and on the far bank (out of shot) are a series of nasty looking oil refineries.
The photographer did a good job of hiding that! :D

I miss my 59 371 powered 53 I built 26 years ago,I am thinking about doing another with the same motor/trans and a 2 door hardtop this time but the parts have dried up some and the cars got more expensive then back in 85.

The Black Maria (muh-RYE-uh). The ratty look was unintentional, I only did it in flat black to make it one color. Currently the 394 is about to come out so I can get down to biz-ness on it.

Will it be ready for next summer? I doubt it!

I'm working on the roof, it's in primer and will get a gold metal flake before the body get's stripped to the metal for a black paint.

Classic but I'm sure of the result.
