I really regret letting this one go, although it freed up funds to buy my present ride...it was a real cherry car and I had some real nice plans for it.It went over to Sweden when i lost my mojo for a month or so...should have just put a cover over it and locked the garage for a while until I came around.....there you go, 20/20 hindsight.

This one, 53 Chevy 210 still had the 235 and powerglide, and ran great. Can't even say I sold it, I traded it for an old junk motorcycle when I thought I needed a bike. Nothing like being young and dumb.

  12. 1966 Bonneville convertible, 389 w/TriPower, auto, red/red/white interior, 8-lug wheels, power and air. One of thirteen like it. Traded a '68 Impala hardtop with a 327 auto for it, had just over $250 in it...of course, this was 1976, and gas was a whopping 66 cents/gallon. Couldn't afford the gas (not at $1.75/hr!), so I traded it on a used '71 Datsun 510 sedan. Which promptly got wrecked a month later!

1969 Dodge Dart GTS 440 auto hardtop, one of just over 600 built, factory car w/3.91 8-3/4" rear, AM, heater, vinyl top, and that is all! Had that in '88 - '89, last I know, it's still in Mass. somewhere. Gawd, that thing was FAST!

1964 Biscayne 2-dr, 283 auto, 3.08 Posi, and that is all it had! Perfect sleeper, blackwalls, white/tan interior, ran like a mad dog, paid $350 for it in 1977. Sold it for $800 a month later!

A blue 1950 Ford 2-dr Custom coupe I bought in 1976, from a neighbor who was asking $300 for it. V-8 3-speed w/OD, heater, radio, bumper guards, dual exhaust with old Thrush steel-case glasspacks, wide whites on stock steelies. Owned that car for just about 15 minutes! Drove it home with the For Sale sign still in it (no price), parked it, and a guy came up and asked if it was still for sale, I said "yeah, for $1,500!"...He came back a few minutes later with the cash. What a sweet runner it was, too!

1967 GMC Suburban. 327 auto, heater, liftgate/tailgate, '69 Blazer buckets, had both back seats, beautiful truck! My first complete restoration of a truck. Best damn truck I've ever owned, too! Traded it for a slick 1962 Lincoln ragtop. Not a good of a deal as it may sound!

I do miss a few others, too. But some vehicles, I do not miss in the least and was more than happy to see leave my life. Some of you guys say you miss "all of them"...either you have had very few cars altogether, or you are just lying. How can you miss "all" of the cars you've owned?

Of all the cars I've owned/sold the only one I still miss is my old Marina Blue '67 Malibu. A couple of years after I sold it the new owner called to let me know the bodywork had been finished and the car was going into the paint booth the following week. When I asked if he was going to keep the factory color he said "No, it going to be orange with silver SS stripes." I came within inches of losing my lunch. [IMG]

I wish I would have kept this one. It would have made a bad ass slammed surfer wagon. '56 Ford two door wagons are not too common.
Its in Sweden now and I sure do miss it. In fact, its the only one I regret selling.

I sold so many I forgot but a few I am still kicking my self and one of my favorites in the last 5 years was this 65 Falcon Sedan delivery. Chop top-custom door handles, frenched antennas, rolled front and rear pan,92 mustang GT motor with all the goodies electric windows ,leather interior ect. O well try and live with all the mistakes in life and the thought will kill ya!

My 55 Chrysler was, and should have been a keeper. I converted it to a hemi from a 301 poly using the original 301 block and even had 12 volt...lol She was a fine ride.;)
In saying that my 52 cheby is a nice ride too.
