Bobby Myers (Race Car Driver) ???

Does anyone have any information or pics. of the cars that Bobby Myers drove during his racing career. I have just bought a old race car that he was to have supposed to have driven on the dirt tracks back in the day, the guy did not have any proof and the car has changed hands many times since then. Not sure but I think he was from Charlotte,Kannapolis,Concord Burlington area this is where the car came from. Anyone know anything let me know. Thanks

The series that was on the History channel "Madhouse" featured the Myers brothers.It showed their dad who I believe was Bobby Myers brother. Like all the other reality shows-had way too much made up drama.

The old race car is 34 Ford 5 window coupe,just trying to find out if he did drive this car. Thanks for all of the info from everyone that has posted.

 

a very common thing that happened in the 50s was that the same car might have 20 or more drivers..

 

Yeah he was a race car driver and sadly died on September 2nd 1957.
