  1. If they eliminated 'red flag' fuel stops, a 302 might have a chance.

EKTACHROME actually Tony. Which tends to be bluer, but not in this case. They were kept in a good temperature range.

Brenn's first rear engine midget was medium blue and the later one was yellow.

    Denny ..

Each year they have a two day (weekend) Vintage Meet/Show that I believe is split between Latimore and Williams Grove.

Between the cars and the PEOPLE who attend that .. I KNOW it's something you'd ENJOY!!!

I'm sure Stan Lobitz or someone else here can target the dates &/or the approximate dates.

Dave: In post 13417, what does the sign in front of the Wally Campbell #1 read? I can't make it out. Thanks, Dale F.

Here's a link to a color shot of Ward at Lime Rock. Just scroll down a little. Color is pretty accurate.

Greetings to the group; this is my first time posting to this forum and I am doing so on behalf of Wayne Woodward's daughter Heidi, who I am presently sitting with.

Interestingly, we did a search under Wayne Woodward and discovered the exchange on in this thread, which of course she finds fascinating!

While the stories about Wayne (aka Billy) may seem far-fetched and even unreal, Heidi can verify what a character he was. All of the bad, crazy and even criminal attributes are confirmed as she was his daughter for 30 some years. She is keenly interested in hearing more stories about her father...even the bad ones.

She remembers "the Villian of Grandview Speedway", an unexplained sudden move to Indiana and living in the Motel 6 for months, filing bankruptcy and strange knocks at the door, womanizing, fights. She remembers John and Helen Burkette from Hagerstown Md that owned the car that he ran in USAC, the infamous pop-off valve. She is sitting here recollecting coming in 4th at Pocono with Jerry Sneva driving. This is a lost chapter in her history...her children have never known him or been to a race. It would mean so much to her to hear more of the stories and fill in some of the blanks!

    Thanks,
    Jim

I am now looking for decals for the Rasmussen sprinter. Looking for the Mobil Pegasus flying horse. Could any of you suggest a supplier of decals that you can recommend.
    Thanks
