Fad T, your car is in a class all its own. Same for Mr Model T. Got home to assess damage from this mornings loop de loop. Have a bent axle and 10" smoothie. A brake line was damaged somehow when the panhard broke loose from the snout on the 9". I checked and its a 9 volt 9". haha A coil over bolt was bent. And a rear hairpin was just slightly bent. Looks like about 500 damage easy. About the same when I slid an Acura into a curb on ice a few years ago. If I had any doubts about teh toughness of my car, they are now erased. Sucker is way tough. Im damn lucky I didnt damage it more. On my way back to work after the wrecker ride home, there was a Blazer in the same place with a destroyed wheel and A frame, in the very same spot as I was in just 20 mins prior..
I am all repaired from my mishap. Now with a 3:00 gear. And now with a redesigned panhard bracket on pinion snout.
Someday ill figure out how to upload a photo but hey my avatar is my t coupe, had it for twenty years and still driving the hell out of it
Here's my bondo sculpture pile of garbage. I like my garbage... It is real Ford steel, just a little "blended together"!
I am driving wacky T to work in the morning. Gonna be about 30 something on the way in and 62 or so on the way home. CANT WAIT!
I picked this one up a month or so ago, disassembled and waiting on patch panels from you-know-who down in Beaumont.
The blue 26-27 pulled from an album, the other two are the early T's, like the one i'm building..they get no respect...a great body style
i love T's. they rule.. no respect, shrugs.. i think everyone likes them just wont admit it. heh.. chris.
