Seems like alot of us older folks are getting back into this hobby... Only this time, we're not blowing these things up with fire crackers like we used to when we were kids....:(

I am currently (i.e. for the past few years) working on the Big Duece. I have been into the the Pocher kits for quite a while and have one F40 finished and an Alfa close to being done. I bought a few of them thinking I would have time to build them all, but the Pocher's are almost more work than building a full scale car.

Here's a 1/8 scale T bucket that one of our members did a while back... I plan on building one with one of TDR's 392 blown hemi engine kits....

Built a couple of the "Big Vette" kits and about an assload of the old AMT 1/12 scale '57 Chevys. You know, the kit with the opening doors and all that.

The Pocher's are the ones that aggravate my carpal tunnel. So many teeny, tiny screws and hand lacing 1/8 scale wire wheels can drive you nuts especially when the instructions don't always translate nicely.

Deuces, Thats the "Big Drag" 1/8 kit, is anyone re-popping that like Big Deuce, and Big T? Had one, built gave it away in a moment of stupidity, need another.

Those vintage Big Drag Kits are expensive.. I have 2 of those kits, one I already started on by glueing the engine block halves together and that's where I stopped. I'm sure Revell will come out with that kit again somewhere down the line... They brought back the Big Tub kit out last year which is cool.. You could still buy those kits.... :)

That pic I posted is of a new Big T model with 2 sets of the old Monogram '60's parts packs.. You can still find those floating around on ebay under vintage 1/8 scale model cars.

Being building large scale for a few years, I get too much glue on my fingers with the smaller scale.

When there isn't enough variety, just start building your own parts like I did, will post pictures later...
