My mind is all aflutter with ideas for my recently acquired '27 T roadster project. As I've been scouring the HAMB looking for information, ideas and inspiration (hey, that's three I's!) I've seen a few T's with Model A grill shells. Wow! Bitchin!

To get this started, here's a few I LOVE! Sorry for stealing these pics if they're yours but they're worth sharing!

The one that comes in about 0:45 Doc? It also comes in about 1:55. That's a SERIOUSLY tall radiator for the body, don't you think? Bitchin none-the-less.

I want to cry every time I see the the Tudor go over!

Hey Pete, how about some more pics? Is that a 26/27 body with a 28/29 grill shell? I have a 29 shell and radiator and I'm thinking I'm going this way instead of T or deuce. My car came with a fiberglass T shell.

'Glass '23 with a '29-29 shell. I cut the bottom down so it followed the cowl line. Fun car...
I miss it terribly. Couple more....one from way back in the Flathead days.

My avatar has a Model A (28/29) grill shell narrowed 5 inches. I liked it and got a lot of positive feedback on it too. I had a radiator custom made by Spike Radiators in Brownsburg ,Indiana.

My 29 A modified has a narrowed A grill. I did the same as saucerhead and took 5 inches out you can do what ever fits your frame. Lots of good comments on the look. I got a piece of aluminum radiator core and made my own radiator. Not a problem.

Too cool! Why did you mount the shock in the middle of the radiator? :D

Nice rods Pete... never thought I'd say that.

Having sold my '31 A Tudor about a year ago (see signature line) the 28/29 grills already look so small. This one looks like a mini-me radiator with that TALL T TOP!

I love 'em too, but the '29 I have only has chrome left on the top half of it. The bottom is almost all junk... and the top ain't that good either! Probably going to have to strip it down, repair it and just paint it.

Forgot about the Mustang radiator thing. Did you have to section it?

Saucerhead and Rex... cooling problems? I was planning on running a mild SBC in my car, but now I'm thinking of stabbing my dad's old 59A in there. I've never had a flathead that ran cool!

As a matter of fact, I do! Here ya go! If you buy it make sure and send my requisite 5% commission! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=451653

You do not have to limit yourself to model T, A or 32 shells.
Mine looks very similar to a model A but is not and it fits the 26/27 better then a A shell.

I'll bet you threw more away than you used! Too cool man!

Okay, so what is it? I have a '28 shell and I really dig the look on a T, but I'm not married to it. I'm guessing it'll need to be chopped a good 5"... maybe more.

Its a 1925 Dodge, I think. Swap meet for $25. Chopped about 3 inchs . Chop was determined by hood line, or body height. Bottom added to cover front crossmember.
