Here are a few from SATURDAY ..The place was jammed end to end . I will post a few until the links are up on Monday ...
All good pics! Not trying to hijack your post. Heres a 28 roadster that was parked along side the main vendors building. A real deal body on what looked to be original rails also. One of the best traditional cars I saw there. Flathead, toploader, and a QC. This thing was cool!
Thank you for taking all those shots. I know the work that goes into it, miles of walking and time to upload the number of pictures you have taken. I look forward to being able to see more. some great cars
There was quite a few Fonz candidates in there too i see Fun stuff! And of course sum rather bitchen rides.
Tks Vance .. Great seeing you and your son and the cookies were a killer after spending all the time on my frekin feet ....
For some reason, I just saw this post. Chris and I did an 'end run' and came through a back gate . . . they were cool enough to let us through as we knew we'd overheat in a long line. Funny Story: I was giving Chris my story about how the GoodGuys crew puts little 'stickers' on headlights to denote cars that will get some sort of award. He thought I was full of crap . . . long story short, when we got back to his car - sure as shit, he had a sticker on his headlight and a slip of paper in the car saying that they picked his car for 'Most Traditional' rod or something along that line -- we didn't stick around for awards (not really our gig), but we'll see in next month's GG Gazette about their Columbus coverage. Chris' car is really a super nice traditional rod - about as traditional as it gets. It runs a 6-volt system and everything on it meets the period of around 1948 or so. He worked his ass off on it for a couple years -- every damn day and it is his first hotrod. It has been a pleasure working with him and getting to know him as a friend. We'll have some additional 'flathead' stories to tell next summer . . . God willing and the creek don't rise
