My '58 Ranchero came with a set...

They're much happier on my friend's black '65 Mustang fastback with redlines.

If you've got a good set you can't give away, I'll take them. My son likes them and wants a better looking set than the beaters that are on his truck anyway!

To each his own. I'll still take them. You don't see them every day like red steelies on a flat black car!

Probably not for "traditional" rods. But I liked them enough in the 70's to buy a set for my 69 Mach 1. Here is a picture taken in 1979.

    Thats cool.

  19. I had a set of those on my '63 Chevy Biscayne 2 door sedan around 1970. At the time I thought they were cool. I look at them now and I think they're ugly. If I was going to make a "period correct" 60's/70's car, I'd go with Cragars.

Keystone Klassics look good on the right car, as shown by the black Riv on a previous page, and even better on a custom '77 Dodge van: ;)

I prefer the Rogue/Jewel/SnoMag, as they're seen far less often:

They'd look perfect on my tandem axle trailer.
Definitely not anything I'd put on any car other than a late 60s or early 70s whatever.

wow.. this one made a come back! you know .. those snow mags are cool....would look ok on my 65.. if I just found a set, Id run em for the fun of it... but keep another set of cooler wheels to change into ... I think I've said it before, I really like them with the silver center... not the black look to muscle car land yacht with the black.....and agree anything earlier it would look odd.. but im sure there are exceptions.. i've seen some stuff over the last year I thought was ugly on the right car look killer.

I think they look good but only the original mag ones. Not the new style ones. Also they only look good on 60's/70's muscle. I just picked up some 1973 date coded 15x4 skinnies and also picked up some 1972 date coded 15x10's the other day. They are going on my chevelle. This style is really hard to find.

Driving back from Nashville yesterday, a '60 El Camino was headed east between Nashville and Jackson. It had Keystone Klassics on it, and looked good IMO.

No, not cool. Some of the most un -attractive wheels ever produced. Cheap looking junk then, and now too.
