Alright, I didn't realize that you had make your account puplic.. I got it now!!! I think, let me know if it works... http://s718.photobucket.com/albums/ww181/blownhemicoupe/2010%20Cleveland%20Autrama%20Wanted%20Man%2034/
I'm the Man! Cool shot of the Rebel Reaper leaving the building toward the end. The best part was watching everyone pull out after the show.
I know the guy that owns it. Very clean. It runs and I've seen him drive in down Norwalk. It's wild and an attention getter for his polishing business.
Oddly enough, that pic has had the most hits of all of them... Next was the chopped Matter lookin tow truck.
I know this is an older post, but I came across it and couldn't help but to contribute to it. I worked the show as a photographer and got to talk to several people about their cars. Here's what I found out: This was a good friend of mine's car, it's a '29 Essex body, yes, that is steel. There's no clear coat or anything on it. It's a Voodoo Larry (team) build. It is now in Minnesota. This one is almost a daily driver, they're from my area and he cruises this thing all over the place. This nicely done Chevelle was built by RPM Speed Shop out of Warrendale, PA. It was the shop's first "official" build... keep an eye on these guys everything they produce is incredible: Off subject but FUNNY.... these guys lost the key to this car at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels show and had to tear the whole dashboard apart to disarm all the security to put it back on the trailer. Boneheads. And last but certainly not least... this is a mid 70's style high end show car. This has sat in the garage of some very well known collectors/racers/record holders for a good number of years. This engine has NEVER been started, and has ZERO miles on it. It is pushed, trailered, and pampered everywhere it goes. Complete with gloves. This thing is truly a "survivor". Hope I didn't bore you all with my useless trivia. =)
I miss the autorama in cleveland. It started getting smaller every year though. Only missed one year in the 12 years i lived in ohio. The boobs pressed against the window is by far my favorite picture you took. I love a good rack.
What I liked about this car is the history that is behind it. You can't really tell from the pictures of it, but the white part is actually leather. The back end of it is all custom made leather with some 70's mooneyes style pattern on it. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of it, because it is genuinely cool......
