While searching for a 50s truck to tinker with, I ran up on this and had to have it. Original 352FE 2bl with 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic and dual exhaust. All the stainless trim is in the trunk along with 3 sets of door panels and a new headliner. Very little rust in the lower rockers and quarters. Can't wait to get started.

    I didn't realize they made a 2 door hardtop that wasn't a Starliner. I don't think I've ever seen a box top that wasn't a post before.

Good grab for a great price.

  10. Cool car.. I love the early Galaxies.

I get scared when guys say all the trim is in the trunk. I have bought far too many cars like that where the trim was in the trunk alright, but it was all wadded up by the guy that pulled it off the car.
All bent up to make it fit...
"It can be straightened" they say..maybe.

    Hope yours is good.

    That's one sexy bitch!!!

I love the transition period between "fin" and "smooth"... when they had the little fin-lets.

Cool looking car. Looks like it is in good shape and actually has a ford in a ford.
    Any plans?

    Love it...always like those...

  19. Nice ride! I've always liked the boxtop roof line on the '61-'63 Fords. They're nice to work on, parts are around as well. I'd pick one up if I could find one as nice as yours.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I LOVE this car! It has so much style. My plans right now are to get it roadworthy for the summer. First and foremost, I need a windshield. It has a bullet hole and all the associated cracks all the way across. The PO removed it for replacement but couldn't find one so it just sitting in there with duct tape. Can't even get it tagged with a busted windshield. Next, the brakes need attention so I may do the disc brake swap from a 77-79 Tbird to include the 2 pot M/C. After that we'll go after the little leaks underneath when swapping out the fluids. I'll be putting it in black primer for now and putting all the stainless trim back on. It's all in perfect shape in the trunk thank goodness. The only thing missing is the speaker grill on the dash and I'm thinking we'll mount a hidden stereo in there that pops up. Lots of ideas

I actually found it right under your nose on the Cincinnati Craigslist. It was on there for a couple months for 2500 and I was sure it would sell quickly but everytime I called, he still had it and was getting tired of people trying to talk him down on it. I sold my chopper and headed for Cincy! He offered it at $1900 and I jumped

Any plans for the extra door panels? The driver side panel in my Starliner has seen better days.
