It was a good show but a great drive with great club members. 13 hours of drive for a 6 hour show. I want that Buick also.

No other club cruizes to more car shows all over the world than the Beatnicks. They always support everybodys car shows. well I guess they finally caught a flat, and had to stop long enough to hold their own car show. Man , what a show! everything was purple and kool. when my friend John Parker lost the right's to the Back to the Beach show, they stepp-up and offered him a new theme for his show. That's what it's aboat. Friends helping friends. If you are into kustoms and did'nt go , you missed out. From the bitch'en art work and the period correct Tiki longe music, it was awsem. John did a fabulous job , as always. and I can't thank enough all the car clubs for showing up and suporting him. Special thanks to Kiwi Kevin, for hosting the after show bar-b-que. I hope we did'nt leave too much of a mess.I'll never forget, years ago , me and the Lifter's held a car show in ensenada Mexico . I invited Steve Bonghi from the Beatnicks, he flew out from New York to Long Beach, drove from Long Beach to the Mexican border, caught a bus from Tijuana to Ensenada that was full of chickens, and caught up with us. In my book , thats what I call a friend. The Beatnicks and John Parker gave me the two most bitch'en trophys for helping them out , I was blown away! but the credit belongs to everbody who helped and all the car clubs who backed him up. Special thanks to Alex Gambino for all his hard work. Groucho, sorrey the Motel "6" was lame, but alot of my friends were'nt able to come out or stay overnight.
