Since you asked nicely, here is one of my exhaust. It sounds pretty good but the pipes are rotten. I've been meaning to replace the system but with the future modifications I have planned I'd just have to do it all over again. I'll live with it the way it is for now.

Went to the track and I'm changing back to the 4.57 gear 12.39 was the best it would do with the 4.11's. I bought a new "N" case to replace the cracked case and will update to the bigger cam. I did make it to the third round still lookin for that 11 second pass! LOL.
I'm afraid to step up on my clutch I just got it to stop breacking with the set up I have now. The old T5 was shifting good though.

Judd;I went to Bakersfield last weekend to the opening race of the ANRA,4 race series. The Comet was on rails!! Ran 10.80-10.83 in 5 passes,1.47 to 60' on all 5 runs.I won round one, good close race, then in round two the air got worse so I dialed a 10.85,ran a 10.803,OOPS!!! Good luck,I feel an eleven second pass is there for you!!!! ROY.

I was bored this afternoon so I Swiss Cheesed my splash apron. I'll post a picture of the finished project tomorrow night.

It seems as if I was a little too optimistic with my reassembly forecast. I painted all the stuff that will now be visable through the holes so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to put the splash apron back in.

Awhile back I was asking if anyone knew about a black 64 comet A/FX I had seen racing at Indy in 64 in some various clips. It was painted all black with a red painted roof and red accents in the side arrows. The only think I could make out was that it had wynn engineering on the side.No one seemed to know what I was talking about. In the latest Muscle car review there is a small pic and descripton of the car I was looking for.I should have known it would have been George Delorean, being he had a 65 sponsered by the same Wynn Engineering.
Does anyone have anymore pics or stories of what happened to it.I bet that car looked great in person Black and red with red interior.

Mostly because I thought it would look cool, the added airflow may be of some benefit here in the Central Valley but I doubt it. I've never seen it on another Comet either. I was in the garage the other day and the idea just popped into my head. It's a big blank area and I figured I'd try something different with it. There are 19 2 1/4 inch holes spaced about 1 1/4 inches apart. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
