What car and truck do you think is the most beautiful model ever? Completely stock bodied only. Born perfect. One you could drive stock and be completely content. (maybe lowered and change the wheels, but that doesn't really count)

To me nothing tops a 1958 Buick Special for a car.
And nothing beats a 1950 Chevy 1/2ton shortbox for a truck.

So here's the bigger question, Why?

The 58 for me is just such a presence. So Beefy, SOO much chrome. So sleek.

The 50 chevy, it just has the perfect lines. It's so simple and smooth. The rear fenders are just a great full shape. The lines in the grill are so clean.

None! All need to be over-channeled, over-chopped, and painted flat black! :)

  15. '59 Pontiac makes me the happiest. Mid-40's Hudson coupes look pretty sharp, too.

To me a '58 Buick looks like a '57 Caddy's fat sister in a bad prom dress, though. Or a jukebox, but slightly more gaudy. They look a lot better with a bunch of chrome shaved off.

Hands down, Mopar metal from 57-58. Especially the 300 and New Yorker. The same sheetmetal was carried into the early 60's, but the chrome and stainless got out of hand a little.

The early-mid 60's Riv was also damn near perfect as well.

Just two? Well a 1933 Alfa Romeo 1750 and a 1956 Ford Big Window Pickup would be great starters.

While there are many beautifully designed European and American cars from the classic era, and lots of beautifully styled 1950's and 60's Ferraris, Jaguars, etc, as far as HAMB-friendly cars, I would choose this:
