We went to our first Fresno Autorama to support our good friends Robert and Sherry (green T with hemi). Here's what I liked:
Thanx for more wonderful pix, what a gathering of fine iron. The blue panel painted 59 Ford Ranch Wagon is like my wagon, but done up so sweet. I am stunned by the detail inside the tailgate etc. Blackie's radiant smile sez it all!! Kudo's my friends, what a wonderful event. Thanx for sharing! ~Sololobo~
Your all welcome, and thanks, I am glad you like the photos. Blackie's smile was even bigger than normal because just before we took that photo he had a great time tearing me a new one for not finishing my '59 he invited in '01. Hopefully he will be back in 2012 and I can cash in my raincheck after a decade!? The people on the right are Robert and Sherry, the owners of the Royal Hawaiian, the green T with the hemi at the show. Ha ha, you noticed that eh... that was a little out of character for her, but funny.
I thought abought showing mine. Then my buddys told me i would need a chrome drip pan. Hay if it dont leak your not driving it. nice shots what camera did you use. thanks jim
Nice pics thanx! Was good to see that Rod-Riguez is alive and well! Quite a few years i didnt see it. Also the cdan w/ the thunderbird engine w/ four Webers is always kool to see, a lot of fabrication involved! The Watusi or What You see? is crazy, the headlights are sick! Do i read Richie Valles? if so im not surprised is stuff is always top notch! Also "the green thub w/ a Hemi" is alawys nice to c! one of the coolest 60s rods out there right now!
Great pics..My fav has to be the amazing background shot of Miss Mays! 2012? Dont worry John you will GET THERE!! If you need any help with it I know a couple of num nutz who will lend a hand : )
Thanks Jim, it's actully nothing fancy - 8.0mp point&shoot Kodak, but I use a tripod. A tripod and no flash makes all the difference in the world at indoor shows. Yeah, I am pretty sure that's what it says. I did a Google search on "Watusi Richie Valles" and it brought me to your post. Ha, thanks Google.
