This is one of the best looking 28/29 ccpu's I've seen. Everything seems in perfect porportion.
How much is the chop and channel. Also that looks like a factory box shortened. How about some dimensions on it.
Is there any chance you have a build thread on it.
    Good work. I love it.

Here's my 36. The only problem, it doesn't hold much fire wood.

Here's mine. It's got about 7500 miles on it since we built it.

  19. thank you very much! The gentlemen at The Texas Hotrod Hoedown honored me with one of their TOP 3 TRUCK awards at the show this year. A guy just north of you in Chicago layed it all out. The bed was all fabricated. I wish it was modified from an original. The frame was "z"'d in the rear and has 1940 running gear (brakes, hubs, banjo rearend springs), The bed is about 1' shorter than original, The cab was chopped 6" and the channeling was about 5". Another problem I wished I had changed was stepping the floor down by the pedals to give me more leg room. It is running a SBC V8 267 ( strange, I know) out of a 80 Malibu, paired to a Chevy S-10 5 spd. trans. If you get with me I can try to put a list together, the previous gentleman started a build book.

that bare metal Model A PU sure looks good, anyone have a side profile shot of it. I normally prefer the Model A to have fenders but this one has a great stance, nice size bed and overall nice proportions

If you look really close at the post above, there's a pretty cool truck in the background.

It does have a few to many things goin' on don't it...

  27. When I first started watching the HAMB there was a terrific thread on these trucks, thats where I saw Rudi's truck. I could not wait to build one. I still waiting to finish it! I have been told that trucks after '35 or so need fenders, but this '46 will work for me. How do the proportions look? 6 inches off the top & 18 out of the box.
