Great Show, Great Cars, Great Trophies..... Well done to all the organisers & car owners..... I loved the Trophy Belt.... Does he have to defend that belt at Wrestlemania next month??

Extraordinary lengths people went to get in...


This guy made cardboard and duct tape fender skirts... there was another that black shoepolished his drag stars... plus the usual snap on moon disks and the guy with the 46 Chevy who has a dedicated set up snap on hubcaps with photocopies of chromies and WWWs...

 

Joe Lockwood's tribute to the Rat Fink... PM him if you have $5K burning a hole in your pocket... worth every penny for this work of art.

Yeah, there were a few of those, and then there were a few who claimed they were going in the swap meet area with the car on the trailer, they were instructed to leave the car on the trailer, and they pulled it off anyway...

What can you do...

We did send a few IFS on fenderless cars and late model wheeled to the spectator lot, and at least one ifs/fenderless/rot rod owner left pissed off...

Looks like a another great show, cars pictured look to be even truer to the 'Billetproof' guidelines than rides in the previous two - although I enjoyed them both a great deal.

Wish I could have made it down, spent the last week in D.C. - I think 36 was the high there.

And are my eyes deceiving me or did Skip make his Merc into a 'Meranchero'???
