less what's *in* the garage, more what's piling up *outside* the garage...

    growing collection of '30 - '31 A stuff...

    couple banger motors...

'67 sporty (11:1, mag, kick likes to throw ya over the bars)...

lathe, press and some other bigger stuff resides in the basement...

have bins of A stuff under the deck, in the basement, on the roof of the garage. boxes of harley shit everywhere, too.

in the middle of the 2nd year of remodeling/restoring our ~100 year old house, landscaping (again), three kids and a full time job. doesn't leave a lot of time for garage stuff, but i make it count and enjoy being in there, as does my 4 year old.

Here's a pic of my two T-buckets. The blue one was built from scratch, using CCR blueprints, the red one is from Total Performance parts.
The other pic is of some friends cars that stopped by to check my progress.

This is my garage. The '64 Fairlane is my son's. It's been a long time project for the both of us. We finished it in the spring of '09, it has since had the hood painted to match the rest of the car. The '30 "A" coupe is mine all steel, it was first built in the '60's. The '55 Ford Customline is mine, it's a Gasser project in waiting.

Here's a pic of the front of my new shop.

Dad and I built this a few years back and really tried to make it look old while doing it. We used Antiqued Corrugated metal siding and some other little goodies to give it the right patina.... I built these doors myself and hung them with these old Railroad BoxCar style hinges. It has Galvy 6" half round gutters and a really dark comp roof to look like an old tar roof. I also scored the bitchen old gas pump thru a friend. I thought it would go well witht he green on the doors. The idea was to have this old "machine shop / car shop" at the end of the driveway.... We also made the house look old as well so the whole package looks bitchen. Pics of the inside to follow.

    Cheers,

    Robert M.

Now some shit from the inside.....

So yeah... There is only a picture of the roadster body but I haven't brought the chassis back home yet from the storage unit. Shortly.... I have things to do to it so I need it home. But there is some other weird shit in my Man Cave that is fun to look at. My main buz is building Live Steam locomotives... Yeah I'm young for his hobby but thats all good... I have been involved since day one and it has really taken hold in my life. You will se a few round the shop in these pics! The chassis will be home soon and then I can get after what I've been needing to work on for quite some time! Oh yeah... That's the front half of my old Top Fuel car hanging from the ceiling. 1968 Shoemaker Car. It will hang in my shop for ever....

    Enjoy,

    Robert M.

    Here's a few more...

Right now its a shit hole but once I get the new Mill rebuilt and exchanged with the unit in the corner the whole thing will straighten up and look super clean. I can't believe how much I can get done in this shop.... I don't need to move anything to use anything. that was the goal. Shit can get cranked out in short order here.

    Cheers,

    Robert M.

The last big thing to come out of this shop... Yes it's non car related but..... It still looks bitchen!

    Cheers,

Right now not a lot because I am trying to clean up and make room for my new to me old Whitney Jensen combo box pan brake and an old Wysong 16ga stomp shear. Then the new roof has to go on as well. But here it is in it's current glory and my son's 51 F1.

    Moter!

Thanks man.... It was a super cool project.... It took me about 5.5 years and lots of head scratching to get it all worked out.... It ran like the wind and is now in some other dudes garage in Huntington Beach.

    Cheers,

    Robert M.
