DVD - History of Drag Racing in MN - Looking for...

gosh i hung out in that neighborhood where the BROOKDALE FORD,, CHARBA (RICHARD CHARBANEAU?) wagon was garaged 67-69.. we used to sit in it and play drivin it sometimes IT WAS SO COOL SEEIN A CAR WITH SLICKS UP CLOSE .... gosh i am old ...........

 

Still wondering if there is any bands on the hamb here that have music without vocals that would like to contribute to the project. Not sure what type of music I really need or if it even has to be somewhat period sounding, so if you have something I'd love to hear it and see if I can find a place for it in the video.

 

Don Ingersoll was the announcer there in the early 60s. If you'd like to hear from him let me know and I'll email him and see if he has any memory's .He lives in Idaho.

I noticed on your thread looking for "Lil' Ebony" that we lost another big member of MN drag history.....Bill Gefre. He and "Peanuts" built/owned some of the best MN drag cars of the 1960's.

 

I have an original Trash men Lp, along with all three Greatest Hits of Mid America LPs if you would like to use that as back round music. It would defiantly be period perfect.
