OK, so if the average time on is just over 15 minutes per session and I turn my computer off for 1 year, could I then complete my Model A project?

I don't blame the computer , really I don't. bad computer bad computer

think part of the problem is the Hamb is one of the best places to find parts. I was guilty of just checking the classifieds when I first found the Hamb

  14. Grits, your numbers don't surprise me at all. I check the birthdays every morning trolling for Old Farts' to invite into our group. Most of the time what I find are 6-10 listings of guys over 55, and only 1 or 2 that have shown any consistant posting.
I send a happy birthday message to the good ones, cuz the ones that haven't posted might have died!
BTW, the OFC is up to 340 very active members. Our site is something we're very proud of.

  15. Actually Ryan cleaned out a ton of posts from everyones totals in a redo several years ago. I think at that time Several of us had between 10 & 15K, scary to know what our total would REALLY be!

  16. Percent of all statistics that are completely made up: 37.742%

  17. Answer: 92,818 Near as I can tell.:D

Grits, now with 3 pages of responses on this thread, your numbers are all obsolete. Better start calculating again.

It's nice to know I'm way above average at something. I'm pretty sure I also fart more than the average person........anyone want to verify that?

  23. Are you implying that more than 1/3 of your work is actually BS?:D Or would it actually be 37% of 37%?

I appreciate Squirrel and Bruce Lancaster's posts! I've learned a few things from both of them.

You could look at the positive part of these statistics. It would appear more people do know how to use the "search" function than preceived. Not only that, think of how many more annoying posts there would be if lets say 30% more members posted. I am not implying that this is a annoying post, I am just thinking how bad it could really get if 30% more people were posting and out of those we see stuff like "Pix of my dogs collar that looks like a 1951 Ford Trim Ring", or "How many of you have a 70 Watt bulb in your Garage vs. a 75 Watt bulb?"

    I am just sayin'.....
