It's Motor City Motors, I just reread his PM and his episode won't be on until Feb.

Sorry about that, I fucked up.

I don`t know how the rest of you guys felt but I was disappointed in the show. Same old sh*t about deadlines and arguements. That`s what killed Jimmy Shines show. Ruined with drama about the builders. It could have been great. These guys appear to be hanging on to a dream of riding the long gone trend of building custom bikes...That train has left. They didn`t even cover the fab segments very well. There were supposed to be five guys but it looked like they called in all their buddies to stand around and the "designer" was busy tagging everything in sight. What a moron. I won`t be wasting any more of my quality time on this show again.

At least the Rides series provided information and insite into "PROFESSIONAL" builders that actually made sense that was both entertaining and informative. Reality TV can kill any good idea.

    Man! I feel better already....

Could not have put it any better myself. The "designer" guy is about the laziest piece of shit I have ever seen. No wonder their custom bike business is in the crapper.

Another Detroit area local 'brother team' (both HAMBers) are on this show, set to air in March. Word was put out originally that is was another "Monster Garage" show, and they were looking for folks that would qualify around here several months ago- they were looking for local talent to appear in it.

If they want to, I'm sure they will chime in, but neither are much for the drama side of things...and I haven't got the full scoop yet from either of them, just secondhand info from my wife... ;-)

One of them already chimed in Donut29 and I'm not sure what Chris's handle is on here....63wagon maybe? It's no secret they were on, in fact I think they did some filming in Chris's garage or at least the camera crew went there to hang out or something. Will be neat to see local car pals on TV if they actually air all 12 episodes they filmed.

Agree , right on. Got bored real fast.

  22. Too bad the producers want to build "goofy" stuff though. REAL hotrods would be way better.

I was just over in the Detroit area spending the night and day with my wife for her bday and caught the show. I was not impressed. I'm sure there is talent in that group, but it didn't show well. I was really impressed with how "fast" that pos sedan was....NOT. I think you could put a blower on a flat head and run 12's... I sure hope those guys were not serious about that car being fast....or looking cool.

I guess they throw in the "drama" to reach a wider audience, and the wider audience is more appealing to the sponsors. I watched the first 5 minutes then switched back to football. I'm not saying anything bad about the true craftsmen on the show, I just wish they would loose all the soap opera drama and deadlines and concentrate more on the build and talents of the builders. Then again, I'm the type that enjoys watching John Glover wheel a fender for hours.
