Vintage shots from days gone by!

    [/QUOTE] The B/M car caught my eye with the Caldwell Motor Company on it.
    Look closer, on the bottom it says Socorro New Mexico.

    Caldwell Motor Company was the Chevrolet-Oldsmobile dealer and at one point a Sinclair Oil Company distributor. I lived out there for nine years, lat 70's to late 80's and met Bill. The dealership was sold in '81, then sold again to my employer, Socorro Motor Company, the Buick Pontiac GMC dealer in town.

    I was told that Bill was into race cars at one time.

    Also, the shot of the Chevrolet plant with the panel truck and the UAW markings:
    Chevrolet Gear and Axle plant was on Holbrook in Detroit. Not sure exactly where the photo was taken though. Not familiar enough with the area it was taken at.

    Check this site out www.magicphotoart.com its a local store here in Bismarck that sells vintage photos from NY, Chicago, Boston, San Fran, New Orleans, Minneapolis, St.Paul MN, Bismarck-Mandan ND. Lots of cool pic's but they have water marks/copyright on them.
