This a couple of pieces I made from wood scraps in my garage. I gave them away 'cause I have no wall space left.

I don't know if you'd call it art...but we built a couch out of some old truck parts.

Thats what I'm talking about aceuh! I want to see the "other" uses for leftover or "to good to pitch" parts.

I made this gate for my driveway.
It took a week of welding and $268 of materials.
The center of the web is a 1934 Ford hubcap

It's so ironic that this thread came up as I've been looking for these two photos since seeing them the last time you posted them and NOT copying them. I haven't been able to get this outta my mind and have already decided I'm going to do something similar in my dining room area and use it as a bar. I sure hope you don't mind.:D

Can you share some photos of how the pieces are attached to the wall? Any hint, tips, tricks for me??

Finally got a top for it, it ended up in my buddy jeff's office. I wanted to put a shelf in the front where the hood would have been, but I didn't get a chance to finish like i wanted and they took over with the top.

A little off the topic maybe.....but that TV show a couple years back about those guys that build furniture and desks out of old airplane parts was really cool. Heck I've had too many beers since then.....can't remember the name of the show.

Yep, that was it. Heck I thought I was the only fan.

I don't really have any garage art, but I did like something I saw in the movie "25th Hour" with Edward Norton a few years back. There was a coffee table in his living room made of 2 really deep slot mags and a rectangular piece of glass. I wish I had that! :D

An old cam, some timing gears, and a fan pulley made into a V8 sign. I got an A hood for $15 and the grille shell was free and a I need a new TV stand; so I came up with this.
