Looks better than the last one, but I still like the original grille.

  8. Not normally into the drawer knob grill thing but on this car I dig it. I think it's a definite improvement. I say run it...

both are pretty tacky if a person were to ask me. get yourself a good 52 grille and fill it with as many teeth as you can fit.

Don't let any body pull your chain. I personally like it, but if you like it, who cares what the rest of the world thinks. Could be the Jim Beam talking but you don't need to get permission from this board or any one else. Keep up the good work. I've seen great and I've seen ugly but you need to respect a man's (or womans) own vision.

My opinion is that there is just too much shit going on. Bird on hood, emblem, busy pin striping, shit all over the headlights. Less is more, less is more.

He asked! we told him! and you have a problem with that! I held back what I really thought, thats why I said stock looks better, Customizing a car should be to improve the looks of it from the factory, "not just change for the sake of change"! this grill does not improve the overall looks of the car! AGAIN HE ASKED OUR WHAT WE THOUGHT!!!

The round knobs don't work for me...you've got straight lines and sharp angles of the grill surround...but in the "hole" you put round items...it clashes...

I'm not a fan of the stock grille bar in the center, but it'd look better than round knobs...

Next, all you have to do is lose the big bullets where the park lites used to be...and put the stockers (or something close) back in...it'll look much better...and I like the bumper without the flat blak on it...

Put another 8 knobs in the spear ends instead of the wheel hub bullets and it'll work better.
I'm with timebomb on not thinking there aren't many grills better looking than a stock '51 or '52 Chevy item.

I do like a '53 Ford "propeller & spinner" grill and would like to see what one looked like on something other than a '53 Ford, but it would be a lot more work than screwing on kitchen knobs.

I think it looks much better than the other one. The only opinion that matters is yours.

  29. The old grille looks like it should be hanging in a voodo shop in New Orleans.
How about just the mesh without any pulls?
