This happened in the final round. Car was steel, so the damage wasn't as severe as it would have been if it was glass. The driver was ok, and he will return!

Gives me goose bumps,,makes me think twice about my anglia,i am running halibrand spindle mounts,no front brakes,olds rear with drums,but i do have a chute!,but i dont think that would work to well on the street if i had to stop fast,,
One of the track guys I know said a spindle broke on the Anglia. I believe Dave Hales said that too. Obviously, you were there Rocky. What did you hear? And, how'd you like OD? Cool place, no? That was about 15 minutes from my house. Mike
I watched that run. The car was porpoising (bouncing up and down between the front tires and the wheelie bar) from the starting line to well past half-track.
