It a worm drive unit from a rototiller.

What i did was add 2 more cam lobes directly opposite from the originals. so the intake valve opens at TDC every stroke and the exhaust valve opens at BDC every stroke.

good to know, that would be interesting to try. i might be trying nitrogen next. i did see that french car, pretty amazing.

been there done that, the hose is so heavy went its long that the motor works harder just to drag the hose around!

Yesterday i tried to run it on a propane tank filled to about 120psi of air and it went about 30-40 feet.

 

I can't help but wonder if this would work with a 2-cycle engine. I suppose one would have to modify the ports. I'll have to think about it for awhile.......

convert it to steam. or maybe a cheapo electric road side compressor run of a batter, supplying a tank. and a generator running off a friction drive wheel. and there you go long range! nice job! boardum + beer= cool shit!
