I know its not smart to predict your cars ET ,and i dont have to because i know what it runs with me driving. Is there anyone going to the Hamb drags ,thats gunna be close to my e.t.'s ? I know DW ,flamedabone , and several others are faster than me and i know of lots that are slower than me .Is there anyone else going that will be running in the 11.80 -11.90 range ? I would like to match up with some good side by side races if possible for fun ,before eleminations ...
im running low 12s. cars can do high 11s if i can keep the front end down and striaght...so im up for some match racin....
Excellent ,look me up then.I will be running the ragidy looking, white and surface rust ,63 Dodge Dart .I am hoping to get it into the 11.70's ,but its gunna be awefull hot in August at Mokan ,so i doubt it will .I ran some 7.50's in the 1/8 a few weeks back in Ardmore ,but everyone i raced was either running the in the 8's or the 6's .Had fun but i either launched and never saw them again ,or they launched and never saw me again.I like a close race better than a slaughter anytime ,even if i loose in the process .See you at the Drags ...
Dang ,there is gunna be more cars in the high 11's than i thought .Are you the guy with the "Dragin Fly" Model A ?
That's the last time it was out. We bent 2 pushrods and it was hitting on 7 cylinders. Freakin ebay parts...... got it remedied now.
Hey Shocker....I'll be running mid 11's, be glad to hook'em up with you. I agree...they either blow your doors off or they drop out of sight. I'm ready for some fun!!!
That Henry J in your Avator looks like it would run mid to low 10's .I dont know if im gunna have enough time to race all of you guys ,but i will do my best to give you all a taste of what the Dart can do ...
Hahaha....thanks for the compliment but its just a mild small block. Easy maintenance and lots of fun. Look me up at the drags...see ya then!
That Henry will run mid 10s but with Posie driving it is a definite mid 11 car!!!! Hurry up with the Hemi would you!!!!!
Easy now....don't be lashing out! It's not me holding things up!!! BTW.....where is that "Barnstormer" sticker at?
Got a new bullet in the '63 Chevy SWB, so I'm shooting for a mid 15. And I'm looking for RossAuto to do a sub 11 in the '37 Willys this year. Likewise for a couple of our other OKC crews.
Me to .I have a good stout drag car now ,it just needs more compression and cam to get it where i want it to be .I will just live with it till the weather cools off ,and i get in the mood to work on it some time after the Hamb Drags.Made a vid of the car last Friday making a pass in the heat in Sanger. Its on the Message board if you want to check it out .See you on the 1320 at Mokan...
what fun is it keeping the front end down??? hurry up and get there....i'm just trying to enjoy the short ride...ha ha !!
Cudan is short for coupe/sedan. I've seen a lot of model A's and a few 4 door tri five chevy's done that way....but thats a first for me on your '35! I still think it's cool
Anyone else ? Im gunna fill up the tank with pump gas before i leave to make it fair .Naturally aspirated ,wussy cammed ,10 to 1 ,small block Dodge ,with 4.10 gears and 8.5 tires on pump gas ,in a beat up old Dart with no traction bars.Whats there to be scared of ??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLPbah_LRVs
Roll bar looks good Danny .Now you dont have to worry about my wake flipping that little car over when i pass you, lol...
My dad will be bringing his 1964 Belvedere with 426 Max Wedge. It should be in the 11's. I'll have my 63 Plymouth, but unfortunatly my Max Wedge is mild.
