  3. I haven't been here for a while, looks like it is moving right along, I like your two tone, I am thinking of doing that with the wagon when it gets repainted.
I think the white roof was the right choice. other then it shows every bit of dust...
Keep going like you are it great...

Thanks! I am really loving the 56 tailights - beats the plain Jane 55 setup by a long shot!

Seat covers are made for a 4door so they don't fit like they should - but it was all I could get.

Thanks guys! Just finished the trim on the passenger side. Starting to feel like I'm finally near the end! I'm thinking about maybe some beauty rings for the wheels. The dog dishes look lonely. Whatcha think?

  19. Whadya end up using for clips Bill? Looks GREAT, btw. ;)

  20. Absolutely fantastic! Nuff said!
    Later,

Aye for the beauty rings. You've really done a first-rate job on this car.

I think you will live to regret that decision.

But the car does look good. Any upholstery shop or anyone with a good sewing machine could cut that upper front seat cover down the center and sew a black vinyl panel on the cut line to allow the seat to tilt forward pretty easily. Would probably be the way to go there.

The trim does have me nervous, but I think it'll be ok for awhile. It's not going to see much highway speed - hopefully that helps.

I asked my upholstery guy about doing just that rto the front seat. If he weren't out of town it might have happened. Maybe later down the road.

Thanks everyone! I had to replace both outer tie rod ends and straighten the bend tie rod on the passenger side. Once all of that and the brakes were done I set the toe-in at 1/4". Anyone know if that is correct or close???

    Trim rings on the way!
