  3. Wow.....thanks everyone.

I extended 'em so that they follow the lower body line. I did a thread on it a while back.

Haha!! Shhh....my wife might be a lurker!!

We miss ya up here Freddy.

It's still braced between the quarters from when we cut the top off, but the plan is to run permanent braces off the inner quarters to the floorboards and to the tunnel...just like a factory HT.

Thanks Rik...it really is fun to have a vision and make it a reality. It can be tough too...for some reason, the way I've put this car together in my head is definitely not the easy way out....but I just can't see it any other way...

And I guess it's time to unveil that photoshop you did for me some time ago. I can't thank you enough, you're the master.....

Of course the car has strayed a bit from that version, but it was instrumental in helping me decide which modifications I thought worked best together. Man...I don't know how the early customizers got it so right without the reference material we have today.

A quick thanks to my friend Paul Garland who helped me with the initial cuts and proportions, my club mate Adam (bigguylilroof on here), and all my friends on here that I BS with....especially custom guru, TheFrenZ.

That's what makes your car great - people who just take the easy way out, have no passion.

Perfect! The side window(s) opening is great. I like the way the top of the front door edge is rounded at the A piller....good eye!

  22. Looks great1 That is going to be an incredible custom. Reminds me a bit of the Landon Chev (if it was hardtopped LOL) which is probably my favorite Chevy of all time.
