I want to mount an Eaton M90 supercharger (carbureted on M90 intake) on my 235 Chevy six and have two questions: Is the cold start mode a problem with the delay of fuel/air mixture to the cylinders? Is the bypass valve really necessary with the throttle control on the intake side of the supercharger. Thanks, Jerry
1. Post an introduction. It's the polite thing to do. 2. Use the search function. 3. Ask your question.
Mine is not a 235 but I have no problem with cold starts with a "wet" m62. I would also say yes to the by-pass just so you take it easy on the engine untill you want the power, then it is right there when you step on the GO button.
A TR250 maybe? I saw a setup like that at the Vancouver All British Field Meet a few weeks ago. It looks great and seems very simple.
Good geuss, TR6 though. Here's a video of the install, and yes it is an SU carb. (2") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUT8c7uBmTE&feature=channel_page
Loving that (6-71?) on that third to last one...sweet setup with the dual carbs aswell so all the better
Maz, you've got everything there is on film. that old blown Chevy has been around Pasadena with that blower since the fifties. it used to swap back and forth with a five carb set up
Gary Hart built an M-90 blown buick straight eight and set a record at either Bonneville or Maxton with it.
