  2. Does this mean that the hot rods and customs won't be in the swap area this year?

It sounded like to me, that there was going to be an area, within the pre 75 specialty parking area. I'll ask Bob Barnes for more information. If you go to the Long Beach Swapmeet next Sunday, he'll be at his usual spot, first row (Vernes Chrome).

    So, just for "non-shiny" roadsters?

Haven't talked to Bob yet, but this is on the LA Roadsters website:

On Sunday, be sure to check out the
    Traditional Rod and Suede
    Show
in the Specialty Parking Area. These are many of the same cars that attend the Annual Primer Nationals in Ventura, CA. The first 400 cars participating in the show, will receive a special memorial dash plaque.

    Check out their website @
    primernationals.com

The key word here is 'Sunday". A lot of the roadster guys enter their rods on Saturday but split early Sunday. By having the traditional rod and suede show on Sunday, the paying customers will have more rods to look at than is usually the case on Sunday. Nice move by the L.A. Roadsters.

  10. Sooooooooo how is this different than any other year with the preferred parking in the swap area for hot rods and customs that are not shinny for the roadster show area. my concern is open the gates on time and not have everyone do the land grab rush of 1880

  12. Talked to Bob Barnes at Ruby's tonight. He said to call the shop during working hours and ask for him and he will answer any questions you may have.
