Custom radio flyer wagon pics and ideas???

Neat wagons..just started one for my grandaughter.......

 

Mine, I've had it since 1957.

 

Here's the boy's beach gear hauler. My wife did the the kustom lava flames. The pictures don't do the flame job justice.

Here's one for you!
I needed a fully self contained rig for my new Miller Dynasty 200 DX TIG welder. Everything need fits into this Radio Flyer wagon. All the cables are coiled and fit down under in the "udder". Momma Cow comes complete with a baby calf.

no pics but buildiong daughters mini indian with a radioflyer side car

 

Heres my sons little wagon. Started w/ a standard wagon, sectioned 6" out of the length and chopped the rails down. The frame,boxed and z'd, is 3/4' square tube. The front axel, dropped and drilled is 3/8" alloy plate w/ 3/4" round stock welded on the ends. The rear wheels are from H.F. I shaved down the tread and painted the white walls on. Got way too many hours in it, but I think it turned out well.

They're from Harbor Frieght. They were aboput 10 bucks. Of corse, I had to shave off the tread and paint the white walls on

this is a great thread!! i now have five grandkids ranging in age from 5 to newborn,and another one just conceived, so i need to get busy building some.

 

Kinda wish I had a grandkid to build a low, wide whitewalls flyer for.

 

Shopping carts make good fun for the kids.....

Built mine YYYEEEEEAAAARRRSSS ago (maybe 15?) for fun and swap meets.







At one swap I had my new Miller-Matic 130 AND two sets of aluminum wheels on it!

I now have a pedal car body (mid-60's fire truck) that clamps on for shows!

i did one for my oldest like 5 years ago just bolted the wheels to the sides no steering (kinda sucked)painted it candy tangarine and flake pin stripped all out. first time i took it to a show.(goodguys columbus) some jack ass stole it out the back of my truck while we were at dinner!!!!!

 

Thats one cool pedal car! I like it ....

You can by new replacement parts directly from Radio. Just go to customer service in their web site, then click replacement parts. I bought 10 tubs from them some years back. They were only $7 each with shipping at that time. A bunch cheaper than buying a whole wagon just to get the tub.

WOW! you guys have some great looking wagons. I can't wait till We have grandkids, so I can build him or her a cool lowrider pedal car. Here are some pics of a pedal car we built, at work, to match a 29 Ford roadster. We built the roadster the year before.

 

This thread help me out alot so I thought I would post my sons wagon. Just got it rollin this past weekend. A canopy and some pinstriping and it will be done. Thank you very much for all the inspiration.
