What I need to do to it, is get a decent set of wheels !! Anybody know where to get a wide set of steel wheels I can run the Olds poverty caps on ?
Also here's a picture of another Olds of mine. We ran this 53 in Mexico in the 92 La Carrera. It was built by my father and uncle and friends.

Bought this 52 Olds 98 right here on the Hamb
it was on the Montana / North Dakota state line in Beach North Dakota

a Montana car, cleaned it out, the floors are solid, the 303 is still sporting the Rochester 4 barrel -- Montana Glass did the windows

There is a 1939 Oldsmobile web site. If you type 1939 Oldsmobile it will come up. The fellow who runs the web site also has a lot of parts for sale.

i used 86 chev truck rally rims and the center cone drilled a hole in the middle put in a 1/4" stud drilled matching hole in my 56 poverty olds caps used a chrome capped nut to hold them on,no one has noticed the nut but have lots of coments on the wheels like what kind of rims r those or like the rims and caps, there on a 50 olds that i put discs on the front and didnt want to change bolt patters, warning rim is wider means tire is fatter might not fit in hole i had to drop from p-235s to p-205s tp get them into the wells

Thanks ROCKET88COUPE, thats a great idea !!! On the pictures, if you go to the second page of the site(click on H.A.M.B.) and cursor down to the area 'To the Editors' and 'Questions and Suggestions' there are several threads about posting pictures. 'Pic Posting Both Ways' by 30roadster seems to be a real good one.

I have a 51 Olds Coupe and I have big plans for it, already modified the firewall to take a 425 cube Caddy mill, which I also have....may be a few years but I'll get er done. Currently working on another project after which I'll start the Olds.
