Yeah, I know - a Camaro. But it is kinda cool to see what passed for innovation 40 years ago, like the mailbox on the hood. Plus there is a Anglia(?) in the far lane

My wife grew up with Dick's widow, and she had told us shortly before he died that she had located the car in Texas, I believe, She was going to surprise him by buying it for him, but we lost contact with Kay, and can't confirm what happened after that...Sorry!

That's correct...just saw Mr. Duncan hisself at his "sometimes occupied" car dealer. Almost bought a Hugo off him a few years back.

Just found this thread and thought it might be a good place to find a photo of Bob Daniels' old Fire-Fly Topolino. Anybody got one? Nice picture of Bob with Ben Rader.

Thought I'd add this one. I now own this car and she runs N/SS. Does anyone remember Danny Edwards and " That Brown Dodge"?

Yes, it is. I've been trying to track it's history for awhile. Do you have any more pictures of it?

Some great old photos of action at NTR. A couple of cars I remember that I didn't see in the photos was a Buick GSX out of Len Imke and a Camaro out of Bobb Chevrolet. I'm not sure if those aren't old enough for this web site or not, but if someone has photos of those cars to post on here it would be great to see them again in color or b & W.

This pic is of the "original" Witchcraft car of Charlie Hamp form Delaware. Your next pic of Witchcraft is a Lamar Vaubel ( RIP) prepped car of (I think) Ed Kyle. You may have another pic ( i have seen it somewhere in my time) of Charlie Hamp's wife "giving the business" to Lamar at the Nationals for "stealing" Charlie's Name. That Pic was great!!

Mea culpa!!! Guess Charlie was from MD, not Delaware. Sorry for not seeing the other post that says about the same thing, and even posts the pic i was talking about. Lamar Vaubel was a terrific tri-five guy! He probably had 8 or 9 different 55 or 56 bodies that he used for various classes. One of the coolest pix I have ever seen is one of lamar's 56 convertible racecar being flat-towed by his 56 Hardtop. I can remenber him having 2-door wagon, 4-door wagon. convert, hardtops, sedans. He was a class act and quite an innovative engineer. He passed on way too soon! RIP.
Please post more pix of Lamars rides if u have em!!
    thanks

Thats one of Eddie "Hillbilly" Duncans old Olds in the background. He too had half-dozen bodies with one engine to "thrill em" with!! Got any pix of any of his others?
    Loved his "woodie" wagon!!

Another Ron Garey prepared and driven car. Pic prior to Chesrown lettering. Owned by Ben Price? It this IS the car Ben Price owned and Garey raced, it has been found and is currently in stage of restoration back to "racecar" trim.

The shabby 67 your are referring to turned out to NOT BE a former Chesrown racecar. The car was purchased in Colorado by (i think) Dave Chesrown, Jr and was recently sold to a restoration shop in Canton, OH and is under restoration and will probably be for sale when it is fininshed. By the way, IT IS a totally original 67 W-30 Automatic car with bucket seats, column shift. The car was probably never raced, as it still had the original dated spark plug wires on it when purchased this summer!!
